Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for supervision of employees, including making decisions evaluating, scheduling/work assignments, work procedures, resolving conflicts and direct oversight in the production schedule. The Operations Manager is a direct report for the Production Supervisor. The Operations Manager is also responsible for determining and recommending needs for planning, coordinating, and direct contact to assist the Production Supervisor in the day-to-day operations. An Operations Manager also strategizes process improvements to ensure everyone completes their tasks on schedule.

Job Duties:

*Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution *Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service *Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems *Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant *Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management *Operations scheduling *E2 system management *Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company *Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols *Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity *Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget *Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed *Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments

• Effective communication skills and ability to resolve conflict on the shop floor
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned production employee

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field OR 5 -8 years of proven on the job Operation supervisor role *Working knowledge of management software programs, including ERP database, QuickBooks, Office 365, and quoting software *Strong IT skills, including database management *Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience *Strong Management experience

Physical Demands:

This position is both on the shop floor working with the different departments to meet deadlines, troubleshoot issues, coordinate the flow of the production processes as well and in the office assisting with the ERP system to delegate the orders for job picking and coordination or department staging.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
